It’s officially March and the warm weather is on it’s way (or at least I hope so), time to dust off your patio furniture, bring it up from the basement and get in gear for coffee, dinner and late-night patio gatherings.
Your outdoor living space shouldn’t be neglected, rather—this space should be treated like the rest of your interior. You can hang lights, use throw pillows, throw down an outdoor rug & even hang artwork to give it a more comfortable, “homey” look. I don’t know about you guys, but I grew up eating dinner on our back porch in Spring & Summer and to my family— it served as our kitchen/dining table and living area during the warmer months.
Because Chicago does not have a warm-climate all year round, and dragging in cushions and pillows every night can be a bit obnoxious, try outdoor furniture that has hidden storage, so you can just slip your upholstered pieces away with hardly no hassle at all.
